136 UEW Students Receive NAkDeF Scholarship


136 students who are students of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) perhaps belongs to the COLTEK have  received some scholarships by the Newmont Akyem Development Foundation (NAkDeF).

10 members who are with the NAkDeF team and also which is led by Madam Gloria Mensah has called on the Management of the association COLTEK to finally present a couple of lists which entails the beneficiaries and to explore the need of a stronger relationship between NAkDeF and UEW.


A team which addresses issues of the NAkDeF, College Registrar, Mr. Michael Kofi Adu made some suggestions which includes that the gold mining company has accepted the  offering of special awards to the best students who performs much in the college and best performing NAkDeF which is sponsores students on its various programs of campus which includes the academics


Mr. Adu was also of the opinion that the institution of a special award would not only boost the bond between the two institutions but endear them to the benefactor the more. This will further increase the profile of the organisation particularly in the area of being alive to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
