The Students Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Education,Winneba (UEW) extends its felicitations to the entire student body.
As part of delivering students centred administration and working to secure the utmost welfare of the ordinary student of University, the SRC, led by His Excellency
Felix Donkor is pleased to inform all and sundry that it has successfully lobbied for the provision of Accommodation in the Traditional Halls, for all students who are due for graduation between 13th to 18th of December 2021 at a cost of GHC 10.00 per night for the purposes of the graduation only.
This intervention by the SRC has become overly necessary because we resonate with the stress graduands are likely to be subjected to should they be left to bear the burden of going in search of accommodation, considering the astronomical increase in the cost of accommodation in Winneba, even for a night.
With due recognition of the high numbers the University has, and the distance students would have to cover in order to wear the prestigious gown on the day of graduation, the council had no other option than to push for this timely intervention of providing accommodation at a relatively stable price.

The SRC in its relentless effort will continue to seek the welfare of the student
body just as mandated to do.

When will UEW be giving out automatic admissions to students with very good classes?
Good morning, please when I once went to the administration for a follow up about my admission.
I was told to go home so I am admitted so I will be receiving a message which is in the past two weeks but nothing has come.
Yet I tried checking out on my portal, I realized that I am admitted there.
Later I tried to login to my portal but it has been blocked. Kindly help me out find a solution to all this because I learnt without the message, I wouldn’t know where to pay for a hall.🤔🙄
